Over the last couple of days we were moving. And all of you who ever moved one or two households from one city to another will probably agree: it’s rubbish. You pack box after box and you still feel the house is full of stuff. Boy, we had loads of boxes. Planned: 30. Counted by one of the friendly moving people who asked for some extra money: 57. Nice.
Now having arrived in Berlin last Wednesday we still have boxes floating roung the apartment. Piling small mountains next to our new sofa and the new wardrobe. I absolutely forgot about the vast amount of sneakers that I own. And unfortunately I forgot my mobile int the cab that took me to our new home as well. But I don’t mind. It was all worth it. The flat is fucking ace. And we are working on making it fucking acer. Or just a great home.
So for all you list-loving people here is an update of my list:
☑ found a place I’d rather work at
☑ quit my old job
☑ find us a new home
☑ leave our old home
☑ make our new home a home
☐ show these guys it wasn’t a fault
☑ ☑ buy some new kicks
One box remaining. One box double-ticked.

That image just made my day. It takes an unbelievable brave man to put this online for the whole world to see. Just because his gorgeous and lovely wife made it. Or an incredibly stupid one.

If you compare the list below to this new one, you might find that we managed to ged rid of two empty boxes here. The most important of both was the new four walls that we found in a beautiful old building right here. The second box that got ticked is rather unimportant because it concerned my appreciation for footwear. Both get my personal “Yeah!”, the first slightly louder than the other due to Käthe joining me there. So without further ado the new, updated list:
