Haven’t heard this song in a long time and found it because I was flicking through some old music videos from another band. I think I first heard the song while doing my civil service. Back in the days my boss gave it to me as part of a mixtape. And I still find it to be one of the best songs of the Goldene Zitronen. Just have a look.

There were people I met that got quite sad about their favourite band quitting. They were melancholic and sad. And I always thought: They were just a fucking band, get on with your lives, sad badsterds. Now since today I’m officially in the club of those melancholic fools. Noel has left oasis and therefore there is no oasis anymore. It’s sad on one hand because they were a part of my youth (now if that doesn’t sound pathetic, what does?) and were the biggest band in the world. On the other hand I bet Noel will be walking the solo path and, as he is the heart and soul of oasis, that’s quite a good end for me then. The band is gone, the most important part of it stays. So till then, here is just Noel and one of his greatest anthems.

Saw the Kills last night. Really good. Sometimes two people are really enough to make a huge crowd happy. Only Jon Spencer and his Blues Explosion were dirtier. But hey, they are three. Unfortunately they didn’t play my favourite song. So here it is.

Sometimes I just can’t help myself and listen to strange and certifiably creepy music the whole day. Since yesterday it’s one of these days again and this is what I’m listening to. I found another song by the same, erm, artist during some research on a platform called Go Green Tube. But I especially like this one here. Sweet but indefinitely naughty. Please don’t judge me. Oh you know, my taste plays nasty little shenanigans on me sometimes.
